I got this question from discussion in youtube
One of the participant ask this to one of the keynote speaker :
“If reason and logic are convention or custom or arised by evolutionary chance out of the mature universe, What is your reason for using reason for testing truth and reality, in other words do you have reason for your your reason or is it just your blind faith ??”
and then he answered : “We use it because it works, and allow us to survive”"
The other keynote speaker give an explanation to like this :
“I think that the question point to a deep incoherence in the atheist point of view, namely, if our believe are the form simply as a result of selected advantage, that means that our believe forming mechanism don’t aim at truth…, they aim at survival…. So how do we know that everything we believe is not really true, it’s just something that help you to survive… In other words there is no reason to think that the evolutionary story it self is true, rather than just something that has survival value “
So… even the tools that we use to determin something, whether it has a value or false true , is not true by itself, instead it’s sole purpose is to help us to survive.
